Bug#2925: who is "910"?

The files installed under /usr/src/linux-1.3.64 are sometimes owned by
root, sometimes by 910. Group ownership varies from src to 910 to root.
They should all be owned by root.src, right?
The file permissions often do not include g+w (are not writable by group
src).
Debian/ and its files all had their sticky bits set!
The symlinks named RCS point nowhere on my machine. I wish they'd disappear.
