Re: Do we really care how many floppies are in the base?

I've had problems with system hangs during loading or base floppies on
all 0.93R5 distributions, requriing multiple reboots and retries
to get the base floppies loaded, and leaving fsck some cleanup
work to do in the initial hard drive boot. This is on three
separate systems (all having slow CPUs). Others have complained
about similar problems. A two-floppy base system install would
probably make this easier for those able to do non-floppy package
installs. I haven't tried package installs from floppy, but suspect
that it would be more reliable than base disk install from floppies.

How about uploading both the 2-disk and 5-disk install sets for
alpha test?
