Bug#1984: dpkg won't install cdtool

Err, boggle.  Can you repeat this ?  I can't (of course).

I'd like to see the output of
 dpkg -D3333 -i workbone-*.deb
during a failing run.  This will produce perhaps 100K of output - gzip
it, uuencode it and mail it to me.
