I think the bug reports do not tell the whole story. Vegastrike had at
least one showstopping segfault bug[1], and was barely if at all
maintained. So I think the issue may have been that it was taking up a
lot of space for no real benefit, rather than simply because it took up
a lot of space.

I would love to see it come back and be playable.
