Correct, Fedora currently has ClanLib-2.3.4 as well as ClanLib-1.0.0 and
ClanLib-0.6.5,
all packaged so that they are parallel installable.

Ouch, in Debian we would prefer just one version.

In Fedora too, but there have been quite a few API changes between
ClanLib versions, so porting is non trivial. In the end we (mostly me) found
this easier.

ClanLib-2.3.4 is used by methane and openalchemist
ClanLib-1.0.0 is used by ballbuster and trophy (I need to rebase trophy to
the latest release, not sure if that changes which ClanLib version it wants)
ClanLib-0.6.5 is used by auriferous and clanbomber

I don't know which of these games are missing from Debian, I can
personally recommend getting auriferous (please see the Fedora
packages for a ton of fixes) and methane into Debian.

All of these except trophy are missing from Debian.

If we have folks willing to do the work, I would suggest:

Get clanlib2 in.
Port trophy/ballbuster/auriferous/clanbomer to clanlib2 and get them in.
Drop clanlib1.

That certainly sounds like a plan. If someone does end up doing that
I will be very grateful and happily steal all the porting work for Fedora :)

Regards,

Hans
