Re: Artwork to Debian Squeeze

Coincidence! -> http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_Artwork
The Fedora13 has a similar concept of my proposal.

My suggestion is to create a schedule similar to theirs, if time permits.
- Key Milestones
    * Concepts submission deadline — ????-??-??
    * Feature freeze — ????-??-??
          o Alpha Wallpaper designs deadline
    * Package selected wallpapers for alpha — ????-??-??
    * Select default wallpaper theme — ????-??-??
    * First wallpaper refresh — ????-??-??
    * Beta Freeze — ????-??-??
          o Nearly final wallpaper, supporting graphics creation — ????-??-??
    * Final default wallpaper design, final extras wallpapers
selection — ????-??-??
    * Release — ????-??-??
          o Posters, DVD sleeves, ...

I don't think functional package name. Should be a standard.
If you need adaptations for special netbook or desktop, change only one package.
aptitude install theme-netbook  or   theme-brdesktop or theme-livecd
.. default = theme-squeeze or theme-lenny or theme-woody

theme-debian-squeeze._.deb
 * theme-gdm-squeeze._.deb
 * theme-kde-squeeze
 * theme-base-squeeze
 * theme-<app>-squeeze

I can create 'theme-space' with only 'theme-gdm-space and
theme-gnome-space (background and confs)'...

It would be easier to build a structure to hold various items and
provide the user several options directly in the distro. Avoiding the
possibility to download a theme unsafe. Only themes packaged in Debian
are safe.
