no, I wasn't talking about DM status (but that is another option). I
was talking about the classic sponsoring and mentoring as explained at
<http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/welcome>.

I have learned that the problem is not that severe. I think adding a
pointer to the Debian Derivatives Frontdesk to Daniel's Wiki page
would be enough for the moment.
