Well, basically if it's going to be visible from the _default_
installer, a much easier solution is to push the tasks on tasksel
itself. However I dislike this option.

Making an udeb you would even use the default installer to install the
CDD just passing kernel params, for example. You might pass:
modules=debian-med-udeb or something like (the option might be wrong
since I hadn't check the docs neither the source for it).

I think there's a conflict about the meanings of CDD here. My POV is
that CDD is somethings available _inside_ of Debian but not available
on Default CD sets or installer by default while your looks to be
different.
