I am no more bound by such a request to stop speaking the truth, than systemd proponents are bound by requests that they stop spreading FUD about the viability of logind on non-systemd-init systems. The evidence of the broken integration has been posted to this bug; anyone who cares about making systemd robust for jessie is free to act on that information by filing bug reports against systemd, or by fixing the problems outlined. It's not my responsibility to personally spoon-feed people fixes for systemd's lack of integration - and particularly given that the poor state of integration is the major reason why I still believe systemd is a worse choice of default for Debian than upstart, I certainly have no intention of being silent about this subject. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
