I vote: B, A, further discussion 


(and obviously in case B is the decision, the maintainers are still
allowed to request removal any time they consider it appropriate; also
for reference, I don't see so bad issues with lilo that we need to
enforce removal from the archive despite there are maintainers willing
to take care of lilo (usual RC bug procedures of course still apply);
and last not least please take care of the current release process
with new uploads to unstable at this time of the cycle)
