The wiki page was not intended as "my position", but rather a general sumary of the underlying problems leading to this conflict between Sven and me and/or between yaird maintainance and linux-2.6 needs. I agree that anonymity is possible on our wiki, but since both Sven and I use registered accounts our commits should be easy to tell apart[1]. > So, Jonas, would you please try to write up your position as an > email ? Do you want the technical aspects of this conflict in purely my words? I wrote solely all initial editions of the earlier mentioned wiki page - do you want me to copy those[2] to an email and GPG-sign it for confidence? I hesitate to do so, as I do not claim to understand the underlying problems fully, and have requested the help of others - including Sven, who have already contributed[3] to the wiki page. Or do you want my view on more personal aspects of this conflict too? I hesitate to do so, as I believe this is irrelevant for the technical committee (and irrelevant for Debian in general as well). - Jonas [1] http://wiki.debian.org/LinuxKernelIdeProblem?action=info [2] http://wiki.debian.org/LinuxKernelIdeProblem?action=recall&rev=4 [3] http://wiki.debian.org/LinuxKernelIdeProblem?action=diff&rev2=6&rev1=4 -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ - Enden er nær: http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm
