If that earlier version of the wiki page is the best summary of your
position then yes, please do copy it to an email.  I don't think
there's any need to sign it unless you and Sven are going to start
accusing each other of forging emails.

In order to understand what's going on we're going to need to have a
clear, convenient and conventionally formatted discussion.  Wikis are
good for essentially cooperative tasks where the authors largely
agree, but tend to break down when they are used for arguing.

Indeed, I think we would all prefer to avoid having to deal with the
personal animosity.  So yes, please try to keep it technical.
