Should I wait for anything else, or upload straight ahead?
@Norbert: can you upload the new build of listed above (cinnamon,
nemo, cinnamon-screensaver, xapp, muffin and cinnamon-session) to
unstable when you have time please? (for the fixes that include
that can be useful for unstable/testing and next ubuntu lts)
today clem started tagging 5.2.0 (not stable release but beta because like other time merged major of PR just before the first tag of the new version), if I'll have time next weekends I'll start prepare/test them for experimental
yes, I'll do for next version so even if needed rebuild on component that deps on it will be done already12 set it as default; is it good change libexec path in all cinnamon components to /usr/libexec or are there any reasons to leave like this? (IGood question. I have no strong opinion. I think changing the path to libexec should be fine, if all the relevant packages do that at the same time. In particular some nemo components used by extensions would probably a recompile?
But in general, I am in favor of following the standard! All the best Norbert -- PREINING Norbert https://www.preining.info Fujitsu Research + IFMGA Guide + TU Wien + TeX Live + Debian Dev GPG: 0x860CDC13 fp: F7D8 A928 26E3 16A1 9FA0 ACF0 6CAC A448 860C DC13
