'k, someone needs to explain this whole apt-get thing to me, cause I'm confused Now, I'm trying to download postgresql-8.2 ... the only thing listed as "stable" is 7.4?? That is, like, such ancient technology that I wouldn't inflict it on anyone :( 8.1 is listed as either 'testing' or 'unstable' ... so, like, how does something get listed as "stable"?
For general Debian, see http://www.debian.org/releases/ http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/ch-resources.en.html#s-archive http://www.debian.org/doc/FAQ/ch-ftparchives GNU/kFreeBSD is slightly specific, as it does not yet have neither testing, neither stable. But it have "unreleased", which can be viewed as add on for unstable.See also bottom of http://wiki.debian.org/ArchiveQualification/kfreebsd-i386
