I did some more research on the font tip and I think we can still gain alot on this area too just by carefully and properly stripping out unneeded glyphs; if we decided to remove bold (and/or) oblique variants and rely on fontsize for emphasizing text, we could obtain excellent reduction of memory footprint regards, Davide
