The problem is not the fact that is explain, but the meaning of the
phrase itself is somehow wrong. The "address is the bitwise is the place
where the topic of the phrase breaks, IMHO. It sounds (to my ears) as if
there were supposed to be two phrases/sentences instead of one.

At least "is" should be "which is".
