Preventing a person from doing further damage,
is sometimes a necessarity[1].
AFAIK could no one prove that Al Capone was a criminal.
But he was convicted for tax misbehaviour[1]
I have been thinking to revoke Sven Luther the priviledge
to post to Debian mailinglists. Reason for validating such action
is his habit of including the original postersss in mailinglist replies.
( http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/#codeofconduct says
* When replying to messages on the mailing list, do not send a carbon
copy (CC) to the original poster unless they explicitly request to be
copied. )
Further thinking about this idea brought me the question:
What is it all about?
And it is all about free software, free as in freedom of speech.
So I shouldn't propose to silence a person who has the right to be a fool.
