Bug#352914: yaboot-installer tries to search for apple partitions on ibm rs6k/pseries hardware

Please let's deal with one bug at a time. Christian's latest problem is
right at the start of the installer and has nothing to do with
yaboot-installer. (It should probably be a separate bug, in fact, and
I'll clone it as soon as I have some vague idea of where to reassign it
