Hi, > > so this could be a good candidate as default theme for visual impaired > > people? we discussed a bit about this at Extremadura and we thought about themes for two different disabilities: one for ppl with problems seeing colors, the other for people who cannot read small characters. Mike Emmel said that with libatk (IIRC) should be possible to handle this and he's tried to get in touch with a person that could give us advices/links. Supporting this would prove that Debian (and d-i/g-i) cares about such problems, so I think we should put effort on this. I also thought it would be cool to have a Debian women theme. Supporting this wouyld prove that Debian (and d-i/gi) is flexible, modular, easily customizable. > > why don't we setup a contest to provide the g-i's default theme ? > > Sure, but you first need to provide a working example, so that others > can customize it without learning how g-i works ;) any ideas about mailing lists ppl we could trt to get in touch with?
