Yes, as well as package installation and network/timezone
configuration.  That would be great.  If this was done in the first
stage, there would be no need for debian-edu to reboot at the end of
the second stage.  We reboot because /etc/resolv.conf and
/etc/localtime is cached by glibc when a program starts, and the only
way to get the new values into for example init is to reboot.
