Sorry, but how fail-proof you can type a password has nothing to with
experience. Things like critical priority install should be expert
friendly, not "geek friendly".

Wanting a fast install with few questions is almost orthogonal to beeing
able to get the password correct in the first try. If there is
connection, then that you want to have it done fast and thus no time to
slowly and consciously enter the password or every third time doing an
extra reboot-cycle to set the password back to a known value. (And not
the other way around, as you are suggesting)
