Above is a paraphrase but that is the error on Alt+F4 screen.  At least
it is the one that indicates error rather than the usual chatter.  The
indication on the install itself is that the next screen is the 'expert'
menu with the highlight on 'Install boot loader'.  This is after the
EFI partition select screen.  No progress bar is shown since the
loader isn't there.

I built the 1.4 version from SVN and then installed it into the netinst.iso
image...  Everything else with the exception of the kernels is 
the 20050117 daily netinst.iso.
