The main use of eject-udeb is, in my knowledge, just ejecting the CD
before the reboot. In that case, it is unmounted first and, as far as
I can remember, it has always worked well.
So, in myopinion, there doesn't seem to be any need to hurry for
fixing stuff in sarge.
But, probably wait for other people input....
