I have noticed that the Sarge installer (beta 4) I used was outdated. This
happened because the spanish page for http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/
cdimage-testing/sarge_d-i/i386/rc1/sarge-i386-netinst.iso is not updated and
the link does not point to the latest version.
Yesterday I downloaded the RC1 version of the installer and today I could
install Debian Sarge sucessfully in a D800 Dell. Now I am still completing
the installation to have a graphical environment.
Osamu,
I did not need to download the patched installer image at http://
people.debian.org/~osamu/pub/ . Thank you very much for your help.
Please close this bug.
thanks again and regards
