I *still* can't get X working! I even told it to use 64 MB of RAM, which is what it uses with Windows -- it just claims it can't find it. I can't get it to work as vga either. Any ideas? The X startup log and the output of lspci are attached.
OK, finally got this. I needed to tell it the card was at PCI:01:05:00 rather than PCI:00:01:05. Funny, I thought I had tried that before; maybe it was before I gave it all that RAM. Thanks for all your help. I'll be back in touch about the ACPI and so on. BTW, when I installed GRUB in my MBR, where did the Windows bootloader go? If I were to delete my Linux partitions, would I now be unable to boot Windows either? (I did have the foresight to back up my bootsector into a file in my Windows partition.)
