Re: Suggested: New installation option

It looks like running the debian-installer under twin
(http://linuz.sns.it/~max/twin/) (already a debian package) will give a
transparent network installlation console almost "for-free".

I can fiddle a slightly larger root-disk image to do this; but I'm not
equipped to either change the root disk build system or to be sure my
integration is "neat" or "approved".

I will be changing inittab to run debian-installer, and the "tail" and
"dmesg" commands under twin, and then have a re-spawning twattach running
based on kernel bootstring options.

This will make debian-installer on-par with the redhat installer that also
allows remote X servers.

Is anyone willing to vet my changes to the root disk image?

Sam
