Those error look familair to me.

I got the installer started with this kernel bootprompt line:

  vmlinuz initrd=netboot-initrd.gz root=/dev/ram0 ramdisk_size=8192 init=/linuxrc

the init=  is important, you will have to increase the ramdisk size
