That kernel is full based on ready patch-packages which are used and
tested by other Debian users.

If you think, the non-official LVM stuff is better, provide
Linux rebootet man in drei Fällen:
Neuer Kernel, neue (Board-)Hardware, neue Partition angelegt....
Aber Windows rebootet man auch in drei Fällen:
Schutzverletzung, Bluescreen, keinen Bock...
