When trying to access CVS via cvsweb (the only way possible for me):
Alert!:HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Error
followed by:
Error: Unexpected output from cvs co: cvs checkout: Sorry, you
don't have read/write access to the history file cvs [checkout
aborted]: /cvs/debian-boot/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied
<blah blah blah>
It has been this way for awhile now.
