Could we have a summary of this please, for people who missed the
start of the thread?

At about the time slink was being prepared someone produced some fonts
that abused the SFM (meaning that the console wouldn't work in UTF-8
mode). Are iso02g.psf and iso03g.psf still those same fonts?

On the same subject, could someone comment on the patch I sent
yesterday which I found necessary to load the font before dbootstrap
is run?
