[solved] Re: xfig on amd64




That was the problem, I feel like an idiot. I had shifted my entire /homedir over from a 32-bit machine, without purging the 32-bit programs in /homedir/bin.

It is working beautifully now.  I thank you very much.

What does "which xfig" report?  Perhaps you have a local 32-bit binary
shadowing the one in /usr/bin.
