Is it i386 specific? I could not find it in the amd64 port, and the source
package says, in the control file: "Architecture: i386"... Oh well, I guess

replying to myself, no go. Apparently sl-modem is non-free and includes a
precompiled binary-only object file, i386 version. Unless anybody has seen
an x86-64 version, no way.
