Hello everybody ;>

I have a problem witch my (64bit) fglrx drivers from ati, and driver "vesa" too. I have LCD wich pivot function, and ive tried to make it work on my debian box. Ive read about xrandr, and i think made everything needed to use it - and it still desnt work... I like pivot option so its a primary goal for me to make it work ;)

I was trying following options in X config (both Xfree and (by now) Xorg)

        Option "RandRRotation" "on"
        Option "Rotate" "CW"
        Option "Rotate" "CCW"

server says:
(II) Initializing built-in extension RANDR

and:
(WW) fglrx(0): Option "RandRRotation" is not used
(WW) fglrx(0): Option "Rotate" is not used

XRANDR says:
Current rotation - normal
Current reflection - none
Rotations possible - normal
Reflections possible - none

XRANDR rotation (xrandr -o right) says:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 159 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 2 (RRSetScreenConfig)
Serial number of failed request: 12
Current serial number in output stream: 12

Xorg|XFree under "vesa" driver have the same problem...

By now I have X Window System Version 6.8.2 (Debian 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7),
newest testing from alioth-s pure64. Any sugestions? (google says noting usable)

Greetings,
