It only worked on 32bit machines runnig in 386 enhanced mode win 3.1,
which meant it actually ran in 32bit mode with virtual memory mapping,
so allowing applications to actually be 32bit was no big deal, you had
to translate between 16 and 32bit applications making windows system
calls of course, but so did win16 apps on NT.

And 16bit programs of course were not really 16 bit programs, they were
more like 20bit programs really due to those stupid segment pointers.

Yuck.
