I think you'll find that although Marx lived in London for a while, he
wasn't British. Kropotkin also lived in England for a time, but
wasn't British either.
I could say 'Nothing screams "American" like an uncritical acceptance
of capitalism', but that would be an unfair stereotype of course.

I believe the management at Enron were extremely adept users of
spreadsheets - they might even have described themselves as 'Excel
power users'. Apparently, they could always make the numbers add up
in a convincing way.
