I installed last night from the sid-amd64-netinst.iso last night, with 
some problems regarding libflac6.  I ran an apt-get dist-upgrade which 
cleared everything up (i burned the iso a week ago, i'm assuming there 
were some problems that have since been fixed).  from there on out I was 
up to a working gui desktop in no time.  I have been very pleased with 
this installation.
