I have my burner set up on an NT machine. I generally use EZCD creator.
I use ISO images only, burn for multiple platforms - alpha, pc, and vax.

Honestly, I don't burn em that often and almost always create two 
coasters before I create the right cd the first time, then I burn 
a couple more immediately, so I don't go thru the coaster process again.
The key is the iso image, at least with ez/easy cd....
