Yes. I think there is a debian-powerpc mailing list, though I don't see it
advertised on the web pages. There have been quite a few package uploads to
master in the developer's change mailing list lately, so I'd have to guess
that means there's activity... :-) Many of the uploads for powerpc have come
from Martin Schulze <joey@debian.org>, who I suspect would be willing to help
direct you if you can't find the list...
