Ok...update...GOOD NEWS :) The Miatas are supported and (apparently) have
been for awhile now (since April from what I can tell).

I'm currently retrieving ALL of the Miata-related files I can find to get
them in a central location for you (and for the rest of us in the
project). You can find them ftp'able at:
	beezer.med.miami.edu:/pub/chris/miata-stuff

In that directory is the AlphaBIOS-HOWTO, a version of linload for the
Miatas (that loads MILO into a non-fixed memory location -- needed on
AlphaBIOS systems), a copy of the pre-2.0.31 MILO for the Miatas, and
pretty much everything related to the Miata that was stuffed into
Digital's "kernel" directory. I'll review the stuff myself to try to help
if needed, but since I don't have the machine as well, it may be tough.

Also, if you cd back one level from that dir, you'll find some stuff
that's not on master yet but that is destined for master (check the
to_master and incoming directories). I tend to compile at least five new
packages per week (often 10+) and am constantly checking debian-changes
for new releases. I have also started a Debian-Alpha page that is a good
reference starting point:
	http://beezer.med.miami.edu:8080/alpha

Let me know if you need assistance or guidance. Plus, this list is a
great place to ask questions, so make yourself at home :)

For the list:

Who's doing the boot and install disks now? I totally forgot :P Well,
whomever it is (no offence), do we have kernels right now for the Miatas
(or even the utilities for them) available? If not, we may want to
consider this soon. From the looks of Tommi's message, we may get some
converts that have PW/433a's from RedHat. Anything I can do to help this
out, please let me know....I'm totally oblivious to how our boot disks are
made, so if you need me, please talk to me like a small, clueless child :)

Chris
