If you specify a memory map to amiboot you can include parts of the
chipram in that map. I used that to install on an A1200 with 4MB fast
+ 1MB chip a long time ago (when debian needed 5MB to install).


But seriously. Who wants to use chip ram or even the onboard fast ram?
Anything but the ram on the accelerator card is a serious
slowdown. The best use for the mainboard ram I know is as ramdisk +
swapdevice.
