arrakis and ipmsun1 have chronic connection problems.  I'm
not sure what gonzo is.

Your work requires stable to be installed in base or is a stable
chroot enough?  bruno.fmepnet.org has enough hard drive space for
a stable-work chroot where you can go into the chroot and install
what you like.  It's one of the slower ( :-) ) machines though so
it would be tough to get anything done while builds were also
going on.
