How do you unpack it??? The file itself looks ok, I can unpack it without
problems on pandora.

The recommended procedure is: boot your debian system and install it with
dpkg -i kernel-image-2.2.16-mac_2.2.16-1_m68k.deb (as root)
Then you have to copy the vmlinux file (/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.16) to a partition
accessible by your booter and reboot. 
Under the native OS, change the boot parameters to use this vmlinux file and
reboot with this kernel.

Hmm, I thought this was general knowlege, what do you do with self compiled
kernels? Maybe I should add this to the FAQ (if its not already there...)
