16/24 bit support should be available for the Cybervision 64, CV-3D,
and the Cirrus Logic cards (Picasso, GVP Spectrum) in recent Linux
kernels.  I don't know much about it, though.  I guess I should put my
old CV64 in the computer and play with it some ;-)

16/24 bit support is also possible with the CybervisionPPC for the
PowerPC processors.

At least Debian doesn't come with KDE on any platform.  You can
probably recompile the packages at http://kde.tdyc.com/, though KDE
may make it into Debian 2.2 (I have yet to hear the official "word" on
this, though, since some people in KDE and Debian seem to go out of
their way to piss each other off... kinda like FreeBSD and Linux
people do on Intel, I think ;-).
