Everything will be in one building, so noise is a concern. And yes,
a few rooms are close to what would be designated social space.
Obviously, this would have to be catered for.

However, when we visited, we did raise those concerns explicitly and
we concluded that it wasn't going to be a major problem.

We are going to negotiate these numbers down to 320 or even further.

We have not entered any serious negotations about prices. Our goal
is certainly to separate at least dinners from accomodation. The
venue probably won't be able to cater to 80 people on one night and
300 on the next without prior notice and proper planning, but as
a they are a business with experience, we expect them to have some
flexibility.

> BTW what are the prices for these people?

We are expecting all hot meals to be around 7 € per person.

Yes, we would take rounds as we did in Edinburgh.

The hostel has a number of open spaces with WLAN, but we have not
inquired about a hack lab yet. We added that as a to-do item.

No. But the conference venue is not a pool or a beach. I don't think
this has ever been a concern at DebConf and it won't be at DC15 in
Germany.

Munich would be fully flexible, as we would not have exclusive use
of the (600+ beds) hostel anyway.

Heidelberg would be flexible above 320 people, but below it might
mean that we have to accept other groups to co-inhabit the space
with us.

For both venues, we have specified the prospective dates: beginning
of August for Munich, end of August for Heidelberg.

Difficult question to answer, but we'd say:

- Munich venue: probably okay, and we'll have security;
- Munich hostel: we would not
- Heidelberg: no problems with exclusive use. If there were other
parties, it would depend on them.

On behalf of the entire team,
