Dear DebConf Team members, I would like to have the final report finished soon; as Raphaël reported, one of our already-confirmed sponsors wants it and DebConf12 is now long over. I propose that we adopt a fixed-date release process and propose Friday 8. February as the deadline. This would allow some of us to give the final touches during the 9-10 week-end and have a final-to-be-validated version for our IRC Team Meeting on Monday 11. This would imply to completely leave the empty sections out of the final "final report", but I think we're at a point where that's the only reasonable course of action if we want to publish this final report in a timely manner. Here's the list of currently missing chapters together with the currently assigned persons according to [0]. I am willing to contact them in private if there's consensus upon this proposed course of action. Bid process Fernando Estrada Budgeting Norman García Debian Day Leandro Gómez Message from the DPL leader@ Photos / Pictures ? (There's currently only a group-picture, the logo and some graphs) Copyright ? (There was a big section with GPLv2 and pictures' credits for DC11) So; what do you think? Cheers, OdyX [0] https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf12/FinalReport P.S. If anyone wants me to step down from this task, just tell it and I'll happily let someone else do the work.
