I'd be delighted if lunch is at a more decent time, like 14:00 or even
15:00... But I know Spanish and Mexican ways are less popular than
early-lunch-Europeans-and-USians :)

Just out of curiosity: Why not siesta? Maybe because it implies "you
are lazy"? That's what I'd usually read here in Mexico - Still, I
found it interesting that i.e. for Argentinians "siesta" is the time
you have for your own business after lunch (and during which you
sometimes take a nap). The first time I read "I met with this friend
at siesta" it looked quite strange for me :)
