Quick one, I was still feeling frustrated so I wrote about it, and linked to this blog from the wiki page.

So, advice please: do I link to the Debian intro page on the wiki, or to my blog then we can make it more local - what does Debian aficionados in Cape Town do? (Or do we make this a wiki page? I am just afraid, as it's an opinion piece and may contain, well, opinions, and possibly errors, I didn't want to make it representative of the team...)

I do want something introductional on the wiki, as we'll probably direct potential sponsors or teammates to this page.

Also, if you feel so inclined, please let me know what sort of stuff you do, in the 'Cape Town Debian flavour' way?

We do have a semi-official slogan. "The universal operating system".
As far as I know, there isn't any official basis for it, but we use it a
lot.
