Could you please give us a bit more information about stias please?
We are submitting a bid to host the annual, international Debian developers' conference in Cape Town in 2016 (more info and reports on past conferences here: http://debconf.org). This is an early stage exploration of suitable venues, and STIAS seems like an exciting opportunity. Would it be possible to host this conference here at all? Our main concern is accommodation. We require nearby accommodation for 300 people - ranging from dorm rooms to hotels, preferably in walking distance. If you cannot provide all of these requirements but a venue nearby can complement you, please indicate that as well (along with contact details if possible).
Venue requirements:
· Available for 10-14 days;
· What is the capacity of your plenary room please (conference style)? We need max 300pax;
· Two rooms capable of seating 150 - 200pax, and 100-150pax, respectively;
· Several smaller rooms for groups of 8-20 people (please indicate how many you have);
· Workspaces with tables, chairs, plugpoints to accommodate a total of 100-150 people with laptops (probably 30 - 50 per room, please indicate what you have available);
· Space for social interaction (possibly including recreational activities);
· The option or facilities to cater for 300pax; 2-3 meals a day plus tea/coffee breaks.

We have not finalised dates yet, and the conference is going to be around 6-9 days long.
Can you please give me an indication of available dates in 2016? At this stage we are looking at the vac segment in September 2016 in particular.
Can you also give me prices of a full day conference package per person as estimate? We understand cost adjustments closer to the time will apply, etc.
Apologies if another member of the team has contacted you already, we're a bunch of volunteers still finding our feet :)
Also, when would suit you for a site visit please?
