I tried to compile from the newest source but i think i didnt
succeed... the i installed a .deb, probably thats where the old
version came from.

I think I never told you, im running Kubuntu Hardy 8.04
2.6.24-24-generic #1 SMP Fri Sep 18 16:49:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

I'll try to compile the newer cdrecord. Do you know if there's any way
to use it with K3B? thats the recording soft I use. Thanks!
