Well, I actually think we should.  It's nice to have this expressiveness
and I think we should mandate its preservation.

I say this because I was thinking that we'd be changing the voting
procedure such that there'd be no numbers on the ballot.

E.g., given options "Foo", "Bar", "Baz", "Quux", a ballot would look
like this:

Quux
Baz
Bar

In other words, implicit ranking only by order of appearance.

Perhaps this explains Raul's reply to my message about "decreasing order
of preference".
